10/14/10

Finally got a chance to get on a computer & upload some pics. Lynden Transport & Friends got into some nice Kings today, & again I found myself wondering if I should get a bigger fishbox. Rivers should all be dialed in here in the next few days.

Recent Pics

Fishin has been day to day with the rain. There are Big Native Coho & Kings in the rivers, and bright Native Summer run Steelhead in the creeks right now. Here are some pictures from his passed week or so.

Bite was basically off by 11am so we went to look at Salmon river. Alot of fresh coho on the move now. We hooked some nice fat Coho up there today. Not sure where im going tomorrow, depends on the river guages in the morning. should be alot of fish in all the rivers after this weeks rain

Summer Steelhead are here

Took a trip the other day and got into some nice Summer Steel. We ended hookin' about 12 Steelhead, but decided to release after 5 in the box. They were all about 8-12lbs with a few pushing 14lbs. I'm still Crabbin' a couple days a week, but there are plenty of fish in the rivers now to book some trips so lets go fishing! Call me for available dates, these fish are ferocious fighters that came 3ft out of the water 3-4 times and put on quite a fight.

River update

We fished the Lower Quinault below Cook this last weekend. Saturday the Gauge at Amanda park said 2300cfs, it was more like 4000 where we were. Height was above what I lke to fish but the flow wasnt bad, and we had 1-3ft vis below the confuence (1ft in the boulders). Sunday the river blew on us, but not after we landed 3 dime bright steelies. We hooked some nice fish Saturday, including a Blueback.
