9/30/10 Rivers Shaping up

We fished below Cook Creek today, river is still brown but looked good, with about 8in vis. flow was fast but fishable. Coho & Jacks jumping everywhere. We landed two nice Kings today and some dime bright Coho. Queets gillnets pull out tomorrow at noon but the driftnetters pretty muched raped that river all week. Ill fish the Quinault again tomorrow. Rivers should be dialed in by this weekend.

9/19/10. Coho on the move with this rain

We fished below Cook creek today on the Lower Quinault. Only a few ft of vis and the fish werent really biting with all the fresh water. We did hook 2 nice Coho, 2 Steelhead & a Jack. Bite was basically off by 11am so we went to look at Salmon river. Alot of fresh coho on the move now. We hooked some nice fat Coho up there today. Not sure where im going tomorrow, depends on the river guages in the morning. should be alot of fish in all the rivers after this weeks rain
